Japanese and Chinese Technical Adviser and Consultant together with Reseach and Development Department of Mindanao State University- General Santos City visited AMAVI’s Farm 3 Site and Central Office.

AMAVI warmly welcome the group from Japan and China together with MSU- Gensan’s Research and Development team to conduct a site visitation for potential investment and technology driven approach particularly on food security, energy and biodiversity.

Among of the potential area of innovation is the Japanese based technology on Banana Cultivation, Rice Farming, Corn, Cassava, Malunggay, fisheries, and putting up gas turbines for electrical generation for energy security.

Once realized, people of Sultan Kudarat and Maguindanao del Sur will be benefited as these projects potentially bring employment and revenue to the people and the host Local Government.

Moreover, AMAVI’s management has positively responded to this initiative wherein the majority of its harvest Cavendish bananas were exported to Japan and China.
