PURPOSE

AMAVI’s main purpose is to operate, manage and engage in the business of growing banana and it’s by products and to perform related activities thereto. The strategy of AMAVI is to attain this purpose is to establish banana plantations in above municipalities with a combined land area of 3,000 hectares and hire within the locality 6,000-farm workers that we hope would directly benefit 60,000 family members.

While AMAVI is a new company its founders, directors and staff have worked in half-century old companies like Del Monte, Dole and other banana plantations in Mindanao. Please see Annex A as the Corporate Profile. We have the experience, technical know-how and strong fortitude that by planting export-type bananas in conflict areas we could attain progress not through the barrel of the guns but harvest fruits without irrigating our fields with the blood of our people.   The whole Filipino nation knows this and we appeal to the top management of Land Bank of the Philippines to help us attain our vision.
